Bumping bot
The bot is not running yet. The mechanics below are how a run works, and the app will say when runs can be booked.
Discovery on Frontier is sorted by activity, so a coin that has not traded recently sinks down the feed. The bumping bot is the paid answer: a prepaid run of small buys, spaced over a window.
Setting up a run
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Number of buys | how many separate purchases the bot makes |
| Window | the period they are spread across, divided evenly |
| Budget | the ETH available across all of them |
Ten buys over an hour land roughly every six minutes. Caps apply to the number of buys and the length of the window, both shown before payment.
What it costs
- The buy budget, which is the ETH actually spent buying the coin. Whatever is unspent at the end of the run is returned.
- A flat amount per buy, covering the gas of executing each purchase. Every buy is a real transaction.
A protocol fee applies on top of the budget, and the full cost is quoted before confirmation.
What it does and does not do
It puts real buys through the coin, which keeps it visible in activity-sorted feeds and puts real trades on its chart.
It does not create demand. The bot buys the coin with the creator's own money, so the creator ends up holding those coins minus the fees the trades paid. The pattern is visible to anyone reading the coin's transactions.
Bot buys pay the standard trading fee like any other trade.
