Buying and selling

Finding a coin

The Discover page lists everything on the platform. It can be searched by name, symbol or address, sorted by last activity, 24h volume, market cap or age, and filtered to new, trending or graduated coins. New launches and trades stream in as they happen.

Opening a coin leads to its page, where the trade panel sits next to the chart.

Placing a trade

  1. Pick a side. Buying takes an amount of ETH, with preset amounts. Selling takes a share of the position, from 10% to everything.
  2. Read the quote. The panel shows the expected amount out and the minimum that will be accepted.
  3. Set slippage if the default does not suit, see below.
  4. Confirm in the wallet. Balance, chart and transaction list update as soon as it lands.

Before graduation the trade goes through the bonding curve; afterwards through the coin's Uniswap V4 pool. The panel is the same and the page states which venue is active.

Check the fee

Curve trades cost 1.5% everywhere, but a coin's market fee is set by its creator and can be anything up to 10%, including a temporary sniper tax in its first minutes. Read it before confirming on a coin you do not know — see Assuming every coin behaves the same way.

Slippage

Slippage is how far the price may move between pressing the button and the transaction landing. Too tight and the trade cancels; too loose and it can fill well below the quote.

  • Presets are available, or any value between 0% and 75%.
  • Above 10% the app warns, because a fill far from the quote becomes possible.

The setting is remembered per device.

Past the tolerance

The trade cancels instead of filling badly. The gas is lost, not the trade amount.

When a trade fails

Almost always one of three causes: the price moved past the slippage tolerance, there was not enough ETH left for gas, or the wallet was on the wrong network. Common mistakes covers each.
