Getting Started
There's no account to create and no password to remember. Your wallet is your identity. Connect it, put some ETH in it, and you can trade in under a minute.
1. Get a wallet
Frontier works with any standard Ethereum wallet:
| How you connect | Examples |
|---|---|
| Browser extension | MetaMask, Rabby, or any injected wallet |
| WalletConnect | Most mobile wallets, by scanning a QR code |
Click Connect in the top bar and pick yours. Nothing is stored on our side - disconnecting is just as easy.
You can browse Frontier without connecting at all. Prices, charts, holders and trades are all visible to anyone; the wallet is only needed the moment you want to trade, launch or stake.
2. Be on Robinhood Chain
Frontier runs on Robinhood Chain. Its gas token is ETH, so you never need to hold a separate token just to pay for transactions.
| Network name | Robinhood |
| Chain ID | 4663 |
| Currency | ETH |
| Explorer | robinhoodchain.blockscout.com |
If your wallet is on another network, the app will ask you to switch - and will offer to add Robinhood Chain for you if it isn't there yet. Approve the prompt and you're set.
3. Fund your wallet
Everything on Frontier is priced in ETH: the tokens you buy, the fees you pay, the gas for each transaction. Bridge or transfer ETH to your wallet on Robinhood Chain before you start.
Keep a little ETH aside for gas. When you buy with your whole balance, the app automatically leaves a small amount behind so the transaction can still pay for itself.
4. Find a token
The Discover page is the front door. You can:
- Search by name, symbol or address.
- Sort by last activity, 24h volume, market cap, newest or oldest.
- Filter to New, Trending or Graduated - or leave it on All.
New launches and live trades stream in as they happen, so the page moves on its own.
5. Make your first trade
Open any token to land on its page, where the trade panel sits next to the chart.
- Choose a side. Buying asks for an amount of ETH - with quick presets. Selling asks for a share of your position, from 10% to 100%.
- Check the quote. The app shows what you'll receive and the minimum you'll accept.
- Set your slippage if you want to be stricter or looser - see below.
- Confirm in your wallet. Once the transaction lands, your balance and the chart update immediately.
About slippage
Slippage is how far the price is allowed to move between the moment you press the button and the moment your transaction lands. Set it too tight and your trade may cancel; set it too loose and you may fill well below the quote.
- Pick from the presets, or type your own between 0% and 75%.
- Above 10%, the app warns you - at that point you can be filled far from what you were quoted.
- If the market moves past your tolerance, the trade cancels instead of filling badly. You lose the gas, not the difference.
Your setting is remembered on your device.
