Points
Points are not being awarded. The page describes how they work so creators and traders know what to expect, and the app will say when the first season opens.
Points record what a wallet did on Frontier. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to claim: the wallet is the identity, so activity counts on its own.
Points are a record, not a promise. They describe what happened.
Points follow fees, not volume
Every point traces back to a fee that was actually paid. A trade earns points in proportion to the fee it paid rather than its size.
The distinction matters once a coin has graduated, because fees vary per coin and per swap: the same trade size can earn a different number of points. It also means there is no cheaper way to earn points than paying the fees everyone else pays.
The app shows the current rates, read from the same configuration that awards them.
Seasons
Points run in seasons of one calendar month, in UTC. When a season ends the boards reset and everyone starts the next at zero.
The lifetime total keeps running underneath. A season resets the ranking, never the record: nothing earned is ever removed or reduced. Rules can change, and they change forward only.
What earns points

Rules that surprise people
- Trading your own coin earns nothing, and does not count toward creator royalties either.
- Launching alone earns nothing until the coin sees real trading, so spam launches are worth zero.
- Creator royalties are capped per coin per month, as a share of what the protocol kept on that coin. Fees past the cap are still paid as fees; they stop adding points.
- Referrals count when the reward lands, not when someone clicks a link.
The boards
Each season has a public leaderboard, plus three views of the same season: traders, creators and referrers. Promotion points count on the overall board and in a wallet's own breakdown but sit on no role board.
A connected wallet also sees its own position, its share of the board and where its points came from. Past seasons stay readable.
A wallet's lifetime total is shown to that wallet on its own page and is not ranked publicly.
