FAQ
Short answers, with a link to the full story where there is one. If something here contradicts a page elsewhere in these docs, the other page is the one to trust - and please tell us.
Getting started
Do I need an account?
No. Your wallet is your identity. There's nothing to sign up for, no password, no email.
What does it cost to look around?
Nothing. Prices, charts, holders, trades and profiles are all public. A wallet is only needed to trade, launch or stake.
Which network am I supposed to be on?
Robinhood Chain, chain ID 4663. Gas is paid in ETH. See Getting Started.
Why did my transaction fail?
Almost always one of three things: the price moved past your slippage tolerance, you didn't leave enough ETH for gas, or your wallet was on the wrong network. A cancelled trade costs you the gas, not the trade amount.
Trading
Why can't I send my tokens to another wallet?
Because the token hasn't graduated yet. Before graduation a token can only be bought and sold on its curve - no wallet-to-wallet transfers. It stops anyone from moving supply around to fake activity or dodge the curve. Every restriction lifts at graduation. See Trade & Graduate.
What does "graduated" mean?
The curve sold out, and the token moved to a real Uniswap V4 pool with permanently locked liquidity - in one single transaction. See Liquidity & Graduation.
How much does it cost to trade?
1.5% on the bonding curve. After graduation, swaps pay a fee that moves with the market: 0.30% in calm conditions, up to 1.20% during violent swings. See Fees & Revenue.
The fee changed between two swaps. Why?
It's supposed to. A graduated token's swap fee responds to how much the price has been moving - it steps up during turbulence and settles back down as things calm. See Dynamic Fees.
Can I graduate a token on purpose?
Yes. Buy exactly what's left on the curve and you're the one taking it to Uniswap. The token's page shows how much is left at any moment.
What happened to my token's chart after graduation?
Nothing was lost. A graduated token's history splits into two eras on its page - Pre-bond and Uniswap V4 - and you can switch between them.
Launching
What does it cost to launch a token?
Just gas.
Can I buy my own token at launch?
Yes, in the same transaction, before anyone else can. It's capped at 15% of supply, with a hard ceiling of 25% that not even the protocol team can raise. See Launch a Token.
Can I change the fee split after launching?
No. The community fee share is written once and is permanent - by design, so buyers can rely on it. What you can change is the address your earnings are sent to, and only whoever currently holds that destination can hand it on.
Can I delete my token?
No. Nobody can - not you, not the protocol team.
Earning
Where do my creator earnings go?
To whatever address you set at launch: your wallet by default, or a multisig, a treasury, or even your own token's staking vault. See Fees & Revenue.
I staked. Where's my yield?
In two places. The token side compounds on its own - your staked balance grows in value, there's nothing to claim. The ETH side accumulates separately and you claim it whenever you like. See Staking Vaults.
Why can't I unstake immediately?
There's a cooldown - currently one day. It stops anyone from dumping their stake the moment a fee wave lands and walking off with the rewards. Your unclaimed ETH stays yours throughout.
How do I get my referral rewards?
They accumulate in ETH (as WETH) and you claim them from your referral page. See Referrals.
Do my referrals pay more because of me?
No. The fee is the same with or without a referrer - your cut comes out of the protocol's share.
Safety
Is a token on Frontier safe to buy?
Nothing about being on Frontier makes a token a good investment. What the protocol guarantees is narrow and mechanical: locked liquidity, no rug window at graduation, identical rules for every launch. Read Safety & Risks before you decide anything.
Someone launched a token with the same name as another one. Which is real?
Check the address, not the name. Names, symbols and images are chosen freely by whoever creates the token.
Can the team take the liquidity?
No. The ownership certificates for a graduated token's liquidity sit in a contract with no withdrawal function. Only the fees that liquidity earns can ever be collected.
Can the team stop trading?
They can pause new launches and curve trading as an emergency brake. Graduated tokens are out of reach - they live on Uniswap and keep trading regardless.
