Bumping Bot
The Bumping Bot isn't live yet. The mechanics below are how it will work; the app will tell you when it becomes available.
Discovery on Frontier is sorted by activity: a token that hasn't traded in a while sinks down the feed, however good it is. The Bumping Bot is the paid answer to that - you prepay a run of small buys against your own token, and the bot spaces them out over a window you choose so the token keeps resurfacing.
How a run works
You set three things:
| You choose | What it means |
|---|---|
| How many buys | The number of separate purchases the bot will make. |
| Over how long | The window they're spread across. The bot divides it evenly, so ten buys over an hour land roughly every six minutes. |
| The budget | How much ETH the bot has to spend across all of those buys. |
You pay once, up front, and the run starts. There's a cap on how many buys a single run can hold and on how long the window can stretch - the app shows you both before you commit.
What you pay for
Two things, quoted separately:
- The buy budget - the ETH the bot actually spends buying your token. Whatever is left over when the run ends comes back to you.
- A flat amount per buy - this covers the gas the bot spends executing each purchase on your behalf. Each buy is a real onchain transaction and somebody has to pay for it.
A small protocol fee applies on top of the budget. The app quotes the full cost before you confirm.
What it does and doesn't do
It does: put a steady trickle of genuine buys through your token, which keeps it visible in the activity-sorted feeds and puts real trades on its chart.
It doesn't: create demand. The bot buys your token with your own money — you end up holding the tokens it bought, minus the fees those trades paid. Think of it as paying for visibility, not as a way to move the price. Anyone reading the token's transactions can see the pattern.
Like every other trade on Frontier, the bot's buys pay the standard trading fee - 1.5% on the curve, or the dynamic swap fee once the token has graduated.
